Through our agreements with airlines, we can ship air cargo everywhere around the world. In the U.S we are IAC certified and approved by TSA to handle air shipments.

 We offer daily departures and many options. Also, air services can be combined with ocean services to save on costs and improve the efficiency of the shipment.

Usually, the latter is more expensive than typical ocean or ground transportation but the transit time is much faster. Even though air carriers have daily flight offerings, depending on the destination and origin of the cargo, the airline will have different flight connections in order to reach its final destination.

Whether its a skid, boat, container, or an autotransformer, we can handle it via ocean vessel. Siraco provides many sailing options with all steamship lines all around the world. For less than container loads, we provide consolidation alternatives with weekly services.

Consolidators, or NVOCC’s, are strictly dedicated to serve the less-than-container-load (LCL) market, and forwarders like Siraco use these services for their customers. Ocean transportation is the most common conveyance. Transit times are longer than air shipping, but costs are much lower.

After the global economic turmoil of 2008 and 2009, steamship lines found themselves with too much capacity in a market with little demand. Thus freight rates were very low worldwide, and ocean carriers assumed huge losses. In the present day, demand has picked up again, but it is still not enough for carriers to fill all the available space.

We will provide you with a certificate of insurance from Lloyds in London. The process is very simple, send us the dollar amount to be insured, we will reply with a quote and we will provide the certificate of insurance upon your approval.

In the event of a claim or loss, we will be there with you to assist. Usually, we suggest to insure cargo, regardless of the transportation mode.
